ADA & Wheelchair-Accessible Transportation in the Bay Area
Accessible group transportation arranged from our Santa Clara base across the Bay Area — planned around the boarding requirements you describe.
Tell us what boarding needs to look like, and we'll confirm what we can secure.
Accessibility is a planning question, not a checkbox. The details that matter are the ones only you can tell us: whether the passenger stays in their wheelchair or transfers to a seat, what kind of mobility device is travelling, and what the pickup and drop-off points actually look like on the ground.
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are arranged through vetted partner operators rather than taken from our own fleet, and we say so plainly because it changes how far ahead you should ask. We handle the coordination — securing the vehicle, matching it to the rest of your group's schedule, and giving you one contact for the day — and we confirm in writing what has actually been secured before you commit to anything.
This is group and private transportation, not medical transport. We do not provide medical care, medical monitoring or personal care attendants.
When groups need this
Accessible transportation within a group trip
Most requests are not a standalone trip — they are one passenger inside a larger group that needs to travel together.
Corporate events
Employees, delegates or visiting clients travelling with the rest of the group to an off-site, campus or conference venue.
Wedding guests
Guests and family members who need accessible boarding on the same hotel-to-venue schedule as everyone else.
Airport groups
Arrivals and departures at SFO, OAK and SJC where one or more travellers need accessible boarding and luggage help.
School outings
Field trips and school activities where a student or staff member needs accessible boarding.
Private groups and families
Family celebrations, reunions and milestone events that should not leave anyone behind.
Care and community groups
Outings and events for community organisations — transportation only, without medical services.
What to include in your request
The more of this we have up front, the faster we can tell you what is genuinely available for your date.
- Number of wheelchair users travelling
- Whether each passenger stays in their wheelchair or transfers to a seat
- Type of mobility device — manual chair, power chair, scooter or walker
- Approximate size and weight of the device, if known
- Total seated passenger count travelling with them
- Pickup and drop-off access: steps, kerbs, gradients, narrow driveways
- Whether a service animal or a companion or attendant is travelling
- Trip date, times and the wider itinerary the vehicle must match

What we will not tell you
We do not publish lift specifications, securement equipment lists, wheelchair positions or accessible seating capacities on this page. Those depend on the specific vehicle secured for your date, and a number published here would be a guess — the wrong thing to rely on when planning around someone's mobility.
We also do not claim that every vehicle in our fleet is wheelchair-accessible or ADA-compliant, because that is not the case. What you will get is a straight answer about your date, in writing, before you commit.
If accessibility is central to your trip and you would rather talk it through, call 855 855 3934 and ask for the accessible transportation desk.
Frequently asked questions
Do you own wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
Accessible vehicles are arranged through vetted partner operators rather than drawn from our own fleet. We coordinate the booking, the schedule and the day-of contact, and we confirm in writing what has been secured for your trip before you commit.
How many wheelchair users can travel?
That depends on the vehicle secured for your date, so we confirm it per trip instead of publishing a number. Tell us how many wheelchair users are travelling, along with the seated passenger count, and we will come back with what is available.
What should I tell you about boarding requirements?
Whether the passenger stays in their wheelchair or transfers to a seat, the type of mobility device (manual chair, power chair, scooter, walker), its approximate size and weight, and anything relevant about the pickup and drop-off locations such as steps, gradients or narrow access.
How far ahead should I request accessible transportation?
As early as you can. Accessible vehicles are a limited pool across the region, so earlier requests give us a realistic chance of matching your date. We will always tell you honestly what is available rather than hold a request open.
Is this medical transportation?
No. We provide group and private transportation, not medical transport. We do not provide medical care, medical monitoring or personal care attendants, and we do not carry passengers on stretchers or gurneys.
Can accessible transportation be part of a larger group booking?
Yes, and this is the most common request. A wedding, conference, school trip or airport group can include an accessible vehicle running to the same schedule as the rest of the group.
Can a service animal travel with the passenger?
Yes. Let us know in the request so the vehicle and seating plan account for it.
What about passengers with limited mobility who do not use a wheelchair?
Many groups simply need low step-in height, help with bags, extra boarding time, or a seat near the door. Tell us and we will plan the vehicle choice and schedule around it.
Need accessible transportation for a group?
Send the trip details and boarding requirements — we'll confirm what we can secure for your date.
